How much does it cost to join the Wine Club?

There is no fee to join our wine club. If you are a member of the All Wines, Reds Only or one of the Elite Clubs, the only charges you will incur is the cost of the club shipments.

 

How often will I be billed?

In the case of the All Wines or Reds Only Club, billing occurs three times per year in February, May and September. If you are a member of the Reds Only Elite Club, billing will occur four times per year in February, March, May and September. And, as an All Wines Elite Club member, billing occurs five times per year in February, March, April, May and September.

 

How will I know when I have been charged?

Prior to billing we will send a notification to the email we have on file. The billing notification will be sent at least one month in advance. After the notification we will bill the credit card we have on file, up to two weeks prior to the release of the wine club shipment.

 

Can my wine club benefits be extended to someone else?

Members of our wine club are encouraged to bring guests with them, and share some of the wonderful benefits of being a club member such as: tastings in the tasting room, use of the picnic area and reserve tastings in the clubroom. Members must be present for guests to take advantage of these benefits.

 

How can I make changes to my wine club account?

If you need to update your account with new information such as, new address, new phone number, new email address or credit card updates, you can log on to our website anytime using your username and password, or you can always contact us directly by phone 800-963-9454 x32, or email club@whitehalllane.com.

 

What happens if my wine club shipment is sent back to the winery?

The shipping service we use will make three delivery attempts before returning the wine to us. If you are unable to make your own arrangements to pickup your wines at the UPS depot, prior to the package being returned to the winery, we will contact you in an attempt to resend your club shipment. We suggest that you provide us with an address that will assure you get the delivery such as a place of business.  There must be someone over the age of 21 to sign for your order.  If the wine is returned to the winery, your account will be charged to resend the wine.

 

What happens if one or more of my bottles in my shipment arrives broken or is leaking?

In the unlikely event a bottle is damaged the shipping service we use usually catches any broken contents before it is sent to the receiver.  If you do receive broken or leaking bottles in your shipment, please notify us as soon as possible so we can do our best to rectify the situation.

 

If I choose to be a “Will Call Member,” how will I know that my wines are available for pickup?

All will call members will receive an email and a post card notifying them of the release and our Open House. As a will call member you are encouraged to attend our Open House events and pick up your shipment. This is an opportunity for you to sample the wines in your shipment, chat with the winemaker and owner and receive special day of discounts. If you are unable to attend the Open House, we will hold the wine for you for up to one month after the release. If you are unable to pick up the wine, we’ll conveniently ship the wine to you. Shipping charges will be applied to the credit card we have on file for you.

 

Can I have someone else pick up my club shipment?

Yes, you can have a friend or family member pick up your shipment for you. Just be sure to give us a call with the name of the person picking up, prior to their arrival, so that we can make notes on your account.

 

Can I put my membership on hold?

We understand that things come up and that you may need to temporarily suspend your membership. As a member of the Whitehall Lane Wine Club we will put your membership on hold for one shipment. Keep in mind that your wine club benefits will be on hold as well.

 

How long does my wine club membership last?

Your wine club membership lasts for as long as you wish it to continue. There are no minimum obligations or number of shipments you are required to receive. You may stop your membership anytime with no penalties.

 

How soon before a shipment do I need to cancel my club membership?

We hate to see you go, but if you wish to cancel your membership we must receive notice two weeks prior to the release of the club shipment. If we do not receive a timely notice, you will be required to accept the current shipment. You will be notified that a shipment is on the way more than one month before the release date.

 

What are the differences between the clubs?

All Wines Club: All Wines members receive three shipments per year and may include both red and white wines; each shipment includes three to four bottles of wine. In addition to current release Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Merlot, shipments also include Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.

Benefits include: A 15% discount on all wine purchases, special reorder pricing, invitations to winery exclusive events, complimentary tastings in the tasting room and clubroom, and access to our garden for picnics.

Reds Only Club: Reds Only members receive three shipments per year; each shipment contains three to four bottles of wine. In addition to current release Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Merlot, some shipments also include a special library selection.

Benefits include: A 15% discount on all wine purchases, special reorder pricing, invitations to winery exclusive events, complimentary tastings in the tasting room and clubroom, and access to our garden for picnics.

Elite-All Wines Club: Members of the Elite 6 or Elite 12-All Wines Club receive five shipments per year and will include both red and white wines. Depending on which club you chose to join; each shipment includes 6 or 12 bottles of the current wines. In addition to receiving shipments of the newest release of Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Merlot, you will also receive shipments of Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay.

Benefits include: A 20% discount on all wine purchases, special reorder pricing, invitations to winery exclusive events, complimentary tastings in the tasting room and clubroom, and access to our garden for picnics.

Elite-Reds Only Club: Members of the Elite 6 or Elite 12-Reds Only Club receive four shipments per year. Depending on which club you chose to join; each shipment includes 6 or 12 bottles of the current release wines. As a member of the Elite- Reds Only Club you will receive shipments of the newest release of Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Merlot.

Benefits include: A 20% discount on all wine purchases, special reorder pricing, invitations to winery exclusive events, complimentary tastings in the tasting room and clubroom, and access to our garden for picnics.
