The wine was barrel fermented in 75% French Burgundian oak barrels and 25% stainless steel barrels and aged on the lees for just less than 11 months. This is a Chardonnay with attractive honeyed tropicial fruit and toasty oak. These flavors are beautifully balanced with copious amounts of tangy tart apple and lemon giving the wine a refreshing yet lengthy finish.
This is the maiden release of a Rosé wine from Whitehall Lane Winery, and this pink wine was not made by accident. Named "Cub Red" by our club members, this summer sipper is a refreshing, subtler version of our red blend, Tre Leoni. Made by bleeding off some of the wonderful sweet Syrah juice after the grapes cold soaked and macerated on the skins for one day. This rosé wine displays subtle flavors of strawberry, cherry and raspberry with a dash of citrus zest. Enjoy chilled on a warm summer day.
BLEND: 92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Petit Verdot,4% Malbec
This wine is a blend of the winery's Fawn Park Vineyard and Leonardini Vineyard fruit. The small amounts of Malbec and Petit Verdot add color, depth and complexity to this classic offering. The wine was aged in 80% French and 20% American oak barrels for 24 months.
